Starry Night

Starry Night quilt is constructed from a pretty fabric line called Blue Crush by designer August Wren for Dear Stella Fabrics. The designer is a watercolour artist and this comes through in these gorgeous prints. There are cats, birds, houses, and florals. I've accented these prints with solids in cream, aqua and Mediterranean blue. The border and binding are a small light blue print from the line. The pattern by Cozy Quilts Design is alternating stars and diamonds. The backing is a soft blue cross hatch. Professionally long arm quilted by Quilting Biker in an edge to edge design called Pearly Weave. Binding is sewn entirely by machine.

A throw or twin bed sized quilt can be used on your couch or favourite chair. Pictured in the photos on a queen bed - note it only covers the top. If you plan to use it on a bed please measure your bed and take note of the dimensions of the quilt. It can be folded at the foot of a larger bed (pictured) for napping or for colder nights. Materials: All new 100% cotton quilting fabrics. Quality 100% cotton batting which is natural, breathable, soft and adds a lovely cosiness to the quilt. Double fold binding is machine stitched to the quilt. Fabrics have not been pre-washed so first washing will produce a delightfully wrinkly result and 3-5% shrinkage will occur.
