Aurora Purr-ialis

Sometimes when I am naming a quilt I am simply amusing myself so bear with me! The pretty solids in this quilt remind me of aurora colours and the cute fabric in the backing features kitties who could actually be frolicking in the cosmos! I pieced the backing with leftover pieces from the top. An ambitious venture but worthwhile I think.

Main Fabric Line: Robert Kaufman Peacock collection plus added solids from my stash.

Backing: Tula Pink Besties collection

Binding: Kona Cosmos

If you plan to use this quilt on a bed please measure your bed and take note of the dimensions of the quilt. It can be folded at the foot of a larger bed for napping or for colder nights.

Materials: All new 100% cotton quilting fabrics. Quality 80% cotton 20% poly batting which is breathable, soft and adds a lovely cosiness to the quilt. Double fold binding is machine stitched to the quilt. Fabrics have not been pre-washed so first washing will produce a delightfully wrinkly result and 3-5% shrinkage will occur.
