Palette

Palette is a one of a kind throw quilt made from solid coloured fabrics I have collected over many years. I was inspired by the free pattern in the 2024 Kona Solids Calendar by the same name by Robert Kaufman.

I quilted this myself in a simple diagonal crosshatch. In combination with the 80/20 batting this makes the quilt a bit puffy like a comforter.

Note if requested I will do the first wash due to the reds and purples in this quilt. See note about shrinkage.

Main Fabric Line: Solids form my stash

Backing: Grunge Grey Paper

Batting: Hobbs 80% cotton 20% poly

Binding: Free Spirit Rainbow stripe

Thread: Aurifil 4647 Berrylicious

A throw sized quilt can be used on your couch or favourite chair. Pictured in the photos on a queen bed. It can be folded at the foot of a larger bed for napping or for colder nights.

Materials: All new 100% cotton quilting fabrics. Double fold binding is machine stitched to the quilt. Fabrics have not been pre-washed so first washing will produce a delightfully wrinkly result and 3-5% shrinkage will occur.
