Kitties and Pretties

This throw/ picnic size quilt is made entirely of scraps. My hope is to offer supporters a more affordable quilt. I like to stick with a restricted colour palette for my scrap quilts but within that colour grouping anything goes for patterns/themes. It is an opportunity to get a ‘one of a kind’ piece of Much Love quilting history while supporting charities. You will find traditional prints mixed with more whimsical prints. For these “Hi” blocks (Emma Jean Jansen) I stuck to shades of aqua, green and purple. Several of the prints have kitties which explains the name. I also did a scrappy patchwork backing on this quilt. Free motion quilted in a swirls design,
A throw or twin bed sized quilt can be used on your couch or favourite chair. If you plan to use it on a bed please measure your bed and take note of the dimensions of the quilt. It can be folded at the foot of a larger bed for napping or for colder nights.

Materials: All new 100% cotton quilting fabrics. Quality 80% cotton 20% poly batting which is breathable, soft and adds a lovely cosiness to the quilt. Double fold binding is machine stitched to the quilt. Fabrics have not been pre-washed so first washing will produce a delightfully wrinkly result and 3-5% shrinkage will occur.
