Cherry Blossom

A bit of romance and a bit of chocolate. Who could ask for more? Named after the colours in the chocolate candy - there are no actual cherry blossoms in the quilt! This pretty quilt has muted pinks, creamy white and soft browns. I used every bit of this collection including piecing a piano key border on the two sides of the quilt. This quilt would be gorgeous on a traditional wood bed frame especially on a sleigh bed.

I was able to find a pretty backing fabric with pink and brown on a very creamy background.

The long arm quilting is one of my favourite designs for a traditional quilt.

If you plan to use this quilt on a bed please measure your bed and take note of the dimensions of the quilt. Pictured on a queen bed.

Materials: All new 100% cotton quilting fabrics. Quality 100% cotton batting which is natural, breathable, soft and adds a lovely cosiness to the quilt. Double fold binding is machine stitched to the quilt. Fabrics have not been pre-washed so first washing will produce a delightfully wrinkly result and 3-5% shrinkage will occur.
